Doretha Ann Hertling Faith, 92, Corydon, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at The Villas of Guerin Woods in Georgetown.
Born Dec. 15, 1919, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Anna Dietrich Hertling.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. (Poddie) Faith; a brother, Walter Hertling; and three sisters, Frieda Blank, Martha Lopp and Lillian Hertling.
Survivors include two sons, Larry J. Faith of New Middletown and Roger E. Faith of Elizabeth; three daughters, Wanda R. Kirkham, Nancy L. Engleman and Juliann Wellman, all of Corydon; a sister, Esther Smith of Scottsburg; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 10, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church south of Lanesville with burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Christopher Truelsen.
Pallbearers: Chad, Jeffery and Christopher Faith, Jeremy Kirkham, Eric Rowland and Micah Shaffer.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the St. John’s Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or Vistacare Hospice.
