William H. Tuttle

William H. Tuttle, 79, Pahrump, Nev., formerly of Corydon, died Monday, April 16, 2012, in a hospital in Las Vegas.
The son of the late Charles and Anna Louise Tuttle, he grew up on the farm of his grandparents, Walter and Wadean Bean, and attended Corydon schools, graduating in 1951.
He served three years in the Army, working as an electrician in the Post Engineers at Fort McGill in Japan then, after his enlistment period, transferred to the Army Reserve for eight years. After time in the military, he earned a degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and was employed by Cutler-Hammer Corp. and Square D Corp. until he retired.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn.
Survivors include his wife, the former Sumiko (Toni) Ishii; a son, William Jr.; a daughter, Teresa Murphy; and four grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. A service time will be determined at a later date.
