Paul A. Wright, 74, Jeffersonville, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born Sept. 1, 1937, in Laconia, he was the son of the late Jesse Monroe and Edna Mae Patterson Wright.
He was a plumber for Norton and Associates in New Albany, attended Rehobeth Presbyterian Church in Laconia and was active in Little League and Boy Scouts.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, the former Gaye Hornickel; three sons, Greg Wright of Greenville, Troy Wright of Brandenburg and Toby Wright of Palmyra; three sisters, Linda McCarthy of New Albany, Gloria Troutman of Elizabeth and Marion Obermeier of Fulda; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 2, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 2, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rehobeth Cemetery.
Officiant: Dr. Frank Hainer.
