Jane E. Gleitz

Jane E. Pinaire Gleitz, 88, New Albany, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, she was a retired registered nurse for Floyd Memorial Hospital, a member of the Old Capital Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years and the DAR in Corydon, a charter member of the Pilot Club in New Albany and a former member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Gleitz, and a brother, Lon Pinaire.
Survivors include Leslie C. Gleitz of Jeffersonville; a sister, Katherine E. Pinaire of New Albany; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 3, after 9 a.m. at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery south of Lanesville.
