Arthur Adamson

Arthur (Earl) Adamson, 68, Corydon, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his home.
Born Feb. 26, 1944, in Leavenworth, he was the son of the late Farley Adamson and Amelia Jane Hannel Beals.
He was a retired truck driver and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon and Marvin Adamson, and a sister, Gretchan Sturgill.
Survivors include his wife, the former Elvira Salzameda; two daughters, Earlene McCutchen of Corydon and Karen Jackson of Jeffersonville; a son, Charles R. Adamson of Corydon; a stepson, Christopher Wallace of Rolla, Mo.; a sister, Lois Scott of Corydon; a brother, Charles A. Adamson of Corydon; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson, Kristopher Ward.
Visitation: Monday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 1, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Jordan Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Hill.
Pallbearers: Charlie Adamson, Ben Martin, Yancy Caudill, Kerry Timberlake, Bob Robson, Scott Davis and Chris Wallace.
