Phyllis J. Whittaker

Phyllis Jean Whittaker, 78, Depauw, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born March 1, 1934, near Depauw, she was the daughter of the late Cleo Joseph and Alberta Grace Scott Colin.
She was a former employee of the old Keller Manufacturing Co. and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis H. Whittaker, and a sister, Joyce Briscoe.
Survivors include a son, Steve Whittaker of Depauw; a daughter, Diana Harris of Depauw; a brother, Larry Colin of Ramsey; two sisters, Jolene Mauck and Linda Rothrock, both of Depauw; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, April 23, from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 25, after 8 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown with burial in the church cemetery.
