Norma Virginia Kitterman Hollcroft, 83, Louisville, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville.
Born in Corydon, she was a 1947 graduate of Corydon High School, was a former employee of H.A. Seinsheimer’s and M. Fine and Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and General Electric Co. in Louisville, where she retired as a computer room secretary, Bldg. 1, in 1985 after 27 years of service. A member of the Methodist faith, she had attended Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church in Corydon and Okolona Baptist Church in Louisville. She had been married to Alva Rainbolt Jr., Claud Ray Alexander and James Kay Hollcroft Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Kitterman, in 1959; her mother, Eddie Mae Young Kitterman Deutsch, in 2008; and a son, Ray Alexander, in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Gregory Rainbolt; a sister, Opal McKibben; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 28, from noon to 8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven in Louisville.
Celebration of life service: Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park.
