Anna Griffith

Anna (Jean) Griffith, 81, Curby, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Jan. 20, 1931, in Clermont, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Marion A. and Emma Garrett Walker.
She was a homemaker and former owner, with her husband, of Sycamore Island for many years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Griffith; six brothers, Wesley, Wallace, Jim, Clarence, Tommy and Charles Walker; and two sisters Louise Walker and Emma Lee McCurry.
Survivors include two sons, Marty Griffith of Richland and George Dale Griffith of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Donna Thomas of Corydon and Gale Berry of New Albany; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, March 16, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, March 17, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
