Earllene Mae Akridge Boss, 79, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Palmyra.
Born May 26, 1932, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Katherine Nash Sutherland.
She was retired from Philip Morris in Louisville and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Corydon, and the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul L. Akridge, Carl Melton, and Knoeful C. (K.C.) Boss, and her brother, James Sutherland.
Survivors include four sons, Paul Akridge of Corydon, David Akridge of Palmyra, Pat Akridge of Jeffersonville and Keith Akridge of Greenwood; a stepson, Casey Boss of Corydon; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Feb. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a VFW Ladies Auxiliary service at 6, Sunday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary service at 7, and Monday, Feb. 20, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral Mass: Monday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon followed by burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Rob Hankee.
Pallbearers: Paul, David, Pat, Keith, Kevin and John Akridge.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hosparus.
