Lorna K. Crosier

Lorna Kay Crosier, 59, Elizabeth, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Sept. 29, 1952, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of Kathleen Birkla Atkins of Corydon and the late Junior Atkins.
She was a former employee of the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and was a member of The Lighthouse United Methodist Church near Elizabeth, VFW Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon and Bonnie Sloan American Legion Post 28 Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany.
Survivors besides her mother include her husband, Allen D. Crosier; a son, Charles Allen Crosier of Elizabeth; a sister, Sandra Elaine McGuire of Brandenburg; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Jan. 2, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 3, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Dunkard Cemetery near Elizabeth.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church or the American Cancer Society.
