Elvin A. Dyer

Elvin A. Dyer, 85, Corydon, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born Aug. 5, 1926, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Henry and Myrtie Byerly Dyer.
He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Maurice Dyer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, the former Bonnie Jean Conrad; a daughter, Sharon LaHue of Leavenworth; two sons, Gary and Mark Dyer, both of Corydon; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery east of Corydon.
Officiant: Brother Morris Larimore.
Pallbearers: Jeff and John LaHue, Chris Faith, Casey Heishman, Jeromie Herbaugh and Ed Reed.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
