Nolan Weilbaker, 93, Palmyra, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at 10:30 p.m.
Born in Fredericksburg, he was the son of the late Charles and Cora Weilbaker.
He was an Army veteran, who served in the South Pacific during World War II, a retired watchmaker and jeweler, who opened Weilbaker Jewelry in Palmyra in 1946 and retired in 1990, and a member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arvil Weilbaker.
Survivors include his wife, Mary I. Weilbaker; two sons, Charles N. Weilbaker of Vincennes and Karl R. Weilbaker of Pekin; a brother, Edward Weilbaker of Fredericksburg; and a granddaughter.
Visitation: Friday, Oct. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
