Eugene W. Mauck

Eugene William (Billy) Mauck, 85, Corydon, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
Born March 11, 1926, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Ira and Mildred Guest Mauck.
He was owner and operator of Mauck Refrigeration & Heating for 46 years, a life member of the VFW Post 2950 in Corydon, a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and was a chief petty officer in the Navy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde, Harold and Darrell Mauck.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, the former Bernice F. Cline; two daughters, Debra A. Mauck Sieg and Cindy A. Mauck, both of Corydon; two half brothers, Denny and Terry Mauck; and a grandson.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 28, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in New Amsterdam Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Robyn Kistemaker.
Pallbearers: Doug Sieg, Steve Hardsaw, Matt Heishman, Butch Kintner, Carl Wiseman and Mark Deich.
Honorary pallbearers: Merrill Wiseman and Melvin, Michael and Marlon McKim.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
