Lois P. Kennedy
Lois Loraine Parks Kennedy, 98, Corydon, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born Jan. 29, 1913, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Queenie Goldman Parks.
She worked in administration at L.S. Ayres and the American Red Cross, both in Indianapolis, and was a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duncan L. Kennedy; three brothers, Estel, Bethel and Elden; and three sisters, Esther, Marcia and Othella.
Survivors include two nephews, Lowell and Estel Parks of Corydon, who cared for her.
Visitation: Monday, Aug. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 30, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in English Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
