Louise M. Davis

Louise Mildred Davis, 81, New Salisbury, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at her home.
Born Nov. 5, 1929, at Manchester, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Bessie McCary Golden.
She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Fellowship Assembly Church in Marengo.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Davis; a son, Darrell Davis; a grandson, Larry Sullivan; and three siblings Louetta Harris, Verna Brown and Beve Edd Golden.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne A. Davis of Milltown, Ronald R. Davis of New Salisbury and Timothy E. Davis of Depauw; three daughters, Charlotte D. Sullivan of Louisville, Chyrell Lynn Davis Sells of Pelham, Tenn., and Shannon L. O’Connor of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 12, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 13, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Gene Helms.
