Clarence L. Funk

Clarence Lester Funk, 89, a residence of Greenwood Manor, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in Lehi, Utah.
Born May 26, 1922, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Harry Edward Funk and Myrta Viola Gunterman Funk.
He graduated from Laconia High School, served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and worked for Allis Chalmers in LaPorte.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet, and two brothers, James Oscar Funk and Kenneth Edward Funk.
Survivors include a son, David Funk of Saratooga Springs, Utah; a daughter, Opal Lynn of Yule of Eads, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was buried June 4 at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Warren, Ore.
