E. Brooks Timberlake

Everett Brooks Timberlake, 90, Laconia, died Monday, June 6, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Born July 1, 1920, in Mauckport, he was the son of the late Stoy and Mary Ellen Singleton Timberlake.
He was retired from the Boilermaker’s Union Local No. 374 in Hammond, was a member of Union Chapel Christian Church near Laconia and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Cleora A. Lasley; a son, Ronald Timberlake; a grandson, Michael Hughes; a brother, Larry Timberlake; and a sister, Audrey Reagan.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Dale Timberlake of Bicknell and Jerry Lee Timberlake of Rensselaer; four daughters, Deanna Hughes of Munfordville, Ky., Saundra Page of Louisville, Beverly Kavanaugh of Evansville and Vera Cone of Seymour; a brother, Norman Timberlake of Rineyville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, June 9, from noon to 8 p.m. and Friday, June 10, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiant: The Rev. Bill Campbell.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Union Chapel Christian Church.
