Loren A. Wetzel

Loren A. Wetzel, 87, Palmyra, died Monday, May 30, 2011.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II of the USS Caldwell, was awarded the Purple Heart, was an East Washington Community School Corp. bus driver for 32 years and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Doris Laverne Wetzel.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Wetzel and Mark Wetzel; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 2, after 10 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Thursday, June 2, at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
