Irvin W. Rigot

Irvin Wayne Rigot, 75, Lanesville, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany after a battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 2, 1935, at Depauw, he was the son of the late Ratio and Gertrude Radcliff Rigot.
He was an Army veteran, a truck driver for the old Martin Hatchery, A&P Tea Co., E&L Transport and the American Eye Institute.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Rigot, and a brother, Robert K. Rigot.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former Sandra Redus; a daughter, Patricia Rigot of Greenville; a brother, Morris Rigot of Jeffersonville; three sisters, Carolyn Taylor and Dorothy Delaney, both of Ramsey, and Marilyn Gibson of Corydon; and three grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen, and there will be no visitation or funeral.
Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey handled arrangements.
