Jerry W. Denton

Jerry Wayne Denton, 52, English, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 11 p.m. at Reid Hospital and Health Care in Richmond.
Born June 21, 1958, in Floyd County, he was the son of the late Charles W. Denton and Hilda Faye Crecelius Denton.
He was a self-employed handyman and a member of the Army National Guard.
Survivors include two brothers, John W. and Randall S. Denton, both of English, and a sister, Donna Johnson of English.
Graveside service: Saturday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at Riddle Cemetery near English.
