William D. Puckett
William David Puckett, 51, Milltown, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born Feb. 1, 1960, he was the son of James and Catherine Doan Puckett.
He was an Army veteran, a truck driver and a member of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas (PomPom) and Flossie Puckett and Bill and Stella Doan, and a grandson, Isaiah McClanahan.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Christine Sampson; three sons, Joshua Puckett of Corydon, Craig Puckett of Elizabeth and Dakota Puckett of Milltown; three daughters, Tabitha Ealy of Corydon and Brenda McClanahan and Danielle Puckett, both of Milltown; four brothers, Jim, Tony and Tommy Puckett, all of Corydon, and Mike Puckett of Thompson Station, Tenn.; four sisters, Charlotte Hitner of Milltown, Sharon Conrad of Corydon, Diane Sizemore of Hardinsburg and Mary Mann of Ochloknee, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown.
Officiant: The Rev. Morris Larimore.
Pallbearers: Joshua, Craig, Dakota, Jim, Tony, Mike and Tommy Puckett and Doug Foster.
