Phillip R. Haworth

Phillip R. Haworth, 78, Georgetown, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at his home.
Born Oct. 18, 1932, in Paoli, he was the son of the late Merrell Grant and Mary Emily Tuell Haworth.
He was a retired supervisor for Ford Motor Co. in Louisville, where he was employed for 35 years. He was former owner and operator with his wife, Jeanette, of Payne Real Estate in Georgetown, was a 32nd degree Mason and was Past Master of the Georgetown Masonic Lodge No. 480 and a member of the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown and an Army veteran during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, the former Jeanette Trimble; a son, John Haworth of Lanesville; a daughter, Phyllis Haworth of Bloomington; a brother, Thompson Haworth of Jasper; two sisters, Marcia Green of Floyds Knobs and Janice Thompson of New Albany; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7, and Wednesday, Feb. 23, after 11 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial and military rites in Paoli Community Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the National Parkinson Foundation or VistaCare.
