Danny J. Riddle

Danny J. Riddle, 67, Corydon, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Aug. 8, 1943, in Madison, he was the son of the late Carl and Evelyn Mae Riddle.
He was formerly employed for more than 20 years as a top salesman for Farm Bureau Insurance in Corydon, was a former top salesman for John Jones GM City in Corydon, was a 32nd degree member of the Pisgah Masonic Lodge No. 32 F&AM in Corydon, was a member of the Royal Arch Masons and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, was a member of the Christian faith and was a Navy hospital corpsman.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, the former Sue Smith; a daughter, Lydia Bates of Corydon; a sister, C. Sue Ellis of Zionsville; and a grandson.
Visitation: Thursday, Feb. 3, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 4, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Pallbearers: Rick and Mick Allen, Tommy Troncin, Charles Fawver Jr., Dan Sillings and Brett Wilson.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society or the donor’s favorite charity.
