Mildred C. Reed
Mildred (Pauline) Carver Reed, 91, Corydon, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Hillcrest Centre for Health and Rehabilitation in Jeffersonville.
Born Oct. 4, 1919, in Mauckport, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Lou Tabitha Beard Carver.
She was retired from the Hoosier Cabinet Co. in New Albany, a retired housekeeper at Hillcrest Centre for Health and Rehabilitation in Jeffersonville and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Central.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Reed, and two brothers, James E. (Jeep) Carver and Robert E. Carver.
Survivors include a brother, Alfred (Peck) Carver of Central, and a sister, Mary F. Hughes of New Albany.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 7, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 8, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Darrell, Scott and Jason Blackman, Robby, Robert and Jason Carver, Jacob Domalewski and Luanne Hardin.
