Dale K. Rhoads

Dale K. Rhoads, 62, Corydon, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville.
Born Jan. 27, 1948, in Corydon, he was the son of Herbert L. and Beulah M. Curts Rhoads of Clarksville.
He was a former brick mason for Rick Sillings in Corydon, formerly employed as an assistant production manager by O’Bannon Publishing Co. Inc. in Corydon, was a farmer, a member of the VFW and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the 57th Assault Helicopter Company.
He was preceded in death by a son, Cody Benjamin Rhoads.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marlena Sue Meek; three sons, Adam J. Rhoads of Corydon, Jeffrey S. Rhoads of Clarksville and Eric M. Shaughnessy of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 13, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
Pallbearers: Bill Eckart, Dan Jacobs, Alan Coffman, Lester Rhoads, Cecil Trobaugh and Ronnie Longacre.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Perseverance Chapel Cemetery Fund.
