Speedy Clements

Speedy Smith Clements, 81, English, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at 7:13 a.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Jan. 19, 1929, in Brandenburg, he was the son of the late Foster and Mabel Chism Clements.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired operating engineer from Local 841, a retired truck driver and a lifetime member of English VFW Post 6160.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a child, Joey Clements, and a sister, Martha Ogden.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, the former Donna L. Sprinkle, and a sister, Maggie Rolls of Georgia.
Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery with graveside rights by the VFW.
Officiant: The Rev. John Bye.
