North Harrison harriers 5th at BNL
The North Harrison cross country team ran another solid race Saturday at the Bedford North Lawrence Invitational, competing against 23 schools, including several ranked teams.
The boys’ varsity team finished in fifth place with a score of 146 points and a pack time of 2:16. The team’s season record stands at 133-11.
Jonathan Reynolds placed fourth overall with a time of 15:52, Johnnie Guy placed sixth with a time of 15:58, Josh Guy placed 15th with a time of 16:48, Kyle Chesser placed 59th with a time of 17:39, Cody Morgan placed 77th with a time of 18:08, and Jason Head placed 80th with a personal record time of 18:10.
The boys’ junior varsity team finished in 12th place with a score of 274 points and a pack time of 4:14. Wesley Wiseheart placed 63rd with a time of 19:57, Ben Wellner placed 68th with a PR time of 20:00, Wesley Haub placed 84th with a time of 20:30, Aaron Lett placed 123rd with a time of 22:24, and Conrae Johannes placed 137th with a time of 24:10.
The girls’ team finished ninth in the open junior varsity race with a score of 202 points and a pack time of 4:08. Shelby Lindsey led the team with a PR time of 23:51 and placed 35th overall. Sydney Taylor placed 51st overall with a time of 24:47, Jenna Waiz placed 62nd overall with a time of 25:22, Abbey Stone placed 65th overall with a time of 25:29, Olivia Davis placed 94th overall with a time of 27:59, Brittney Voyles finished in 102nd place overall with a PR time of 29:08, Allison Walls finished in 105th place with a time of 29:55, and Nisa Moss finished in 108th place with a time of 31:07.
