Mary C. Rothrock

Mary Catheryn Rothrock, Depauw, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born Sept. 23, 1915, at Cold Friday, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Martin and Ola Byerly Pate.
She worked as a caregiver and cook at Clover Valley Hatchery, helped operate a chicken, dairy and beef farm and was a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Kintner Rothrock; three brothers, Otto, Marcus and Earl Pate; and a sister, Mayme Brandenburg.
Survivors include three children, Lois Jean Raisor, Francis Dale Rothrock and Velda Faye Harris; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, Courtney Rothrock, Harrison Raisor and Mattie Eckart.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey and Thursday, Sept. 16, after 10 a.m. at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church south of Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. at the church with burial in Loudon Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Jeff Reed.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Loudon Chapel Cemetery Foundation.
