Noble L. Gray

Noble Lee Gray, 76, Marengo, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at 9:20 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Sept. 13, 1933, in Hartford, Ky., he was the son of the late Steve Gray and Dema Clemons.
He was retired from Mulzer Quarry’s demolition department, was a carpenter, was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion in Milltown, the VFW in English and the Pentecostal faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Doris M. Blackman; two sons, Dennis and Jerry Gray; two brothers, Reathel and JC Gray; a sister, Sue Redden; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include four children, Rick Gray of Eckerty, Myra Lewis of Milltown and Tony and Todd Gray, both of Marengo; two brothers, David Gray of Louisville and Joe Clemons of Chicago; four sisters, Zelma Logsdon and Jean Massey, both of Palmyra, Anita Clemons of Louisville and Muriel Clemons; 15 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 16, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Thursday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery.
