Justus L. Crawford

Justus L. Crawford, 76, Georgetown, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at 2:05 a.m. at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born April 9, 1934, in Crawford County, he was the son of the late John W. Crawford and Leafie Brown.
He was a retired service technician for Lozier Machinery in New Albany, a member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church and an Army veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Richard Crawford.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Smith; three children, Sandy Hammack of New Albany, Debbie Howell of Clarksville and Mark Crawford of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Don Crawford of Laurel and Raymond Crawford of Connersville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, July 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, July 23, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Friday, July 23, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. John Bye.
