Lewis A. Enlow

Lewis Alvin Enlow, 89, Corydon, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born March 11, 1921, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Alvin L. and Ethel Ann Trobaugh Enlow.
He was a retired captain/pilot for ACBL, a member of Bethany EUB Church in New Albany, Pisgah Lodge 32 F&AM in Corydon, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and York Rite and was a merchant Marine.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Allen and Grace Hine, and a grandson, Adam Enlow.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Catherine Gibson; five sons, John D., Thomas D. and Robert A. Enlow, all of Corydon, James L. Enlow of Madison, Wis., and Jack A. Enlow of Indianapolis; two daughters, Suzette M. Nowlin of Mariemont, Ohio, and Sandra Jane Enlow of New Albany; three sisters, Beulah Mae Hartsaw of Bartow, Fla., Clara Jane Leftwich of Crawfordsville and Charlotte Jeannette Schrader of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, July 6, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 7, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Masonic Service: Tuesday, July 6, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Dennis Brinkworth.
Pallbearers: Members of his Masonic lodge.
