Louise I. Ott

Louise I. Ott, 91, died Monday, June 28, 2010, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.
Born March 30, 1919, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Vernie and Agnes Haysley Davidson.
She was a retired teacher at Lanesville Elementary School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville and the Indiana Retired Teacher’s Association.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Ott, and a brother, Marion (Bud) Davidson.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis C. Ott of Jeffersonville and Bruce G. Ott of Georgetown; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 30, from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, July 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at her church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Christopher Truelsen.
The family suggests memorial gifts to St. John’s Lutheran Church School.
