Nathan Baker, 24, Salem, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at 12:45 a.m. at University Hospital in Louisville.
Born Aug. 8, 1985, he was the son of Sandra Teeter and Donald Baker Jr. at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
He attended Eastern High School and earned his GED with honors, and was employed at Morgan’s Food Co. in Austin and MJ’s Wings ‘n Things in Salem.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald Baker and Jim Teeter.
Survivors besides his parents include a sister, Rachel Baker of Pekin, and his grandparents, Katherine Allen of Lanesville and Wanda Teeter of Corydon.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial service: Thursday, May 20, at Legacy Life Church in Salem. Pastor Gregg Jackson officiated.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Diabetes Association or Kentucky Organ Donation Association.
