Donald R. Longacre, 83, Corydon, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Aug. 15, 1926, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Amzie B. and Sylvia Snyder Longacre.
He was a farmer, a former bus driver for the South Harrison Community School Corp. and a Navy veteran.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Voyles Longacre, and three brothers, Herschel and Kenneth Longacre and the Rev. Roy Lillpop.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Ray and Marvin Lynn Longacre, both of Corydon; two daughters, Patricia Ann Longacre of Corydon and Teresa Diane Evans of Louisville; a brother, Ray Lillpop Jr. of Laconia; a sister, Anna Beanblossom of Laconia; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, May 24, at 1 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Central Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Greg Carter.
Pallbearers: Tim, Billy and Jeff Lillpop, Ronnie Longacre, Steve Beanblossom and Brad Dunaway.
