Kent D. Martin

Kent David Martin, 44, Corydon died Friday, May 14, 2010, at University Hospital in Louisville.
Born Sept. 3, 1965, in Corydon, he was the son of Frederick William Martin and the late Exel Lee Paschal Martin.
He was employed at Jeffboat in Jeffersonville as a painter and a member of Teamsters Local 89.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick William Martin Jr.
Survivors besides his father include a son, Cory David Martin of Corydon; a daughter, Jessica Lynn Martin of Corydon; two brothers, Boyd Ray Martin of Corydon and Thomas V. Martin of New Albany; five sisters, Donna Sue Durbin of Irvington, Ky., Dianna Lynn White of Corydon, Hallie Denise Sillings of Leavenworth, Judith Ann Hilbert of New Salisbury and Nancy Elaine Singelton of Irvington, Ind.
Visitation: Monday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 18, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiant: Pastor Doug Phillips.
