Melvin C. Barrow

Melvin Clifford Barrow, 90, Corydon, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, in Corydon.
Born March 1, 1920, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Ivan and Lula Myrtle Ward Barrow.
He was a retired mechanic and farmer.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer and Ward Barrow, and three sisters, Ruth Reynolds, Margaret Sieg and Hazel Cline.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ida B. Brown; a son, Bob Barrow of New Amsterdam; three daughters, Carolyn Coleman and Mary Satori, both of Corydon, and Jenny Kirkham of Palmyra; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Thursday, April 22, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Friday, April 23, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, April 23, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, west of Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Betty Sieberns.
Pallbearers: Donald, Brian and David Satori, Bob Barrow, Stan Sturgeon and Lee Brown.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or Community Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
