William Forrest (Nick) Neely, 87, Corydon, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at his home.
Born July 30, 1922, in Mauckport, he was the son of the late Corda and Mary Margaret Ellen Carver Neely.
He was the owner and operator of Independent Beer Distributors and the old Neely’s Caf’ in Corydon and a member of the Pisgah Masonic Lodge, the Murat Temple, the Old Capitol Order of the Eastern Star in Corydon and New Amsterdam United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Neely.
Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret McCarty; a daughter, Judy A. Love of Corydon; a brother, Jack Neely of Kentucky; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, April 19, at 3 p.m. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in New Amsterdam Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Betty Sieberns.
The family suggests memorial gifts to New Amsterdam United Methodist Church.
