Vincent J. Zaring

Vincent J. Zaring, 67, Lanesville, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at his home.
Born Dec. 19, 1942, in Pewee Valley, Ky., he was the son of the late William Richard and Amelia (Emma) Brockman Zaring.
He was a retired maintenance manager at C. Lee Cook Corp. in Louisville and a member of the Lanesville Aero Club and the Aircraft Owner’s and Pilot’s Association.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Joseph Zaring.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary M. Hottell; a son, Chadwick B. Zaring of Elizabethtown, Ky.; six brothers, John, Glen and Eugene Zaring, all of Crestwood, Ky., William Richard Zaring Jr. of Jeffersontown, Ky., Stanley Zaring of Chiefland, Fla., and Leroy Zaring of Goshen, Ky.; two sisters, Theresa Rash of Crestwood and Mary Hosler of Pewee Valley; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 23, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in St. John’s Cemetery near Lanesville.
Officiant: Pastor Christopher Truelsen.
Pallbearers: Leroy, Richard, Eugene, Glen and John Zaring and Claude Guyton. Honorary pallbearers: Gary Dauenhauer, Marvin Schoen, Ron Voelker, Ronald Murphy and Melvin (Corkie) Rake.
