Grace E. Colin

Grace Evelyn Tower Colin, 83, Milltown, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
Born Jan. 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Orris Newman and Violet Pearl Meriwether Tower.
She was a 1945 graduate of Marengo High School, a graduate of the New Albany Beauty College and was a homemaker until she and her husband owned and operated Colin Trailer Sales in New Salisbury from 1967 to 1982. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Alan Colin; an infant brother, Charles Newman Tower; and a sister, Mary Lucille Kotarski.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Melvin Francis Colin; a daughter, Sheila Ann Bond of Corydon; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 3, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, March 4, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Thursday, March 4, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown.
Officiants: Father John Fink and the Rev. Philo Jones.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Kidney Foundation.
