Joseph L. Snyder
Joseph Lloyd Snyder, 71, New Middletown, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at his home.
Born July 1, 1938, in Leavenworth, he was the son of the late Arthur and Anna Russell Snyder.
He was an Air Force veteran, a finishing manager at International Harvester and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in New Middletown, the VFW and Louisville Masonic Lodge 865.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Otis Snyder.
Survivors include his wife, the former Janet Rawlings; two sons, Terry Snyder of New Middletown and Jeffrey Snyder of Dothan, Ala.; three daughters, Sue Stoud of Edwardsville, Toni Lutz of Melbourne, Fla., and Vickie Timberlake of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, James Snyder of Lanesville.
Visitation: Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 21, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, Feb 21, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethany United Methodist Cemetery in New Middletown.
Officiant: The Rev. Lance Marshall.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
