Helen E. Miller

Helen E. Miller, 93, Corydon, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Jan. 11, 1916, in Laconia, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Liebert Kinzer.
She was a retired employee of the old M. Fine Shirt Factory in New Albany, a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church and Retired Senior Volunteer Program and a former member of the Harrison County Hospital Guild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Miller; a sister, Freida Luther; and five brothers, Charles, Marion, Pinkney, Richard and Stanley Kinzer.
Survivors include a son, Lamar Miller of Elizabeth; a daughter, Betty Denbo of Corydon; a sister, Mary Simcox of Elizabeth; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 1, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 2, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at the Corydon Presbyterian Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
