Dunaway named All-State

Brandon Dunaway was named Class 3A Junior All-State in football. Dunaway, who played wide receiver, safety and held the kicking duties for the Corydon Central High School Panthers, was selected All-State as a punter.
Dunaway got off 37 punts this season for a 38.4 yard average per kick. Among the 37 punts, only 20 were returned by opponents.
‘Brandon is very deserving of being recognized as the all-state punter for the Junior Class 3A All-State team,’ Corydon Central head coach Darin Ward said. ‘He is a heck of an athlete that could have probably made the team as receiver or safety. It is nice to see a player that works hard, day in and day out doing the right things, get the recognition that he deserves. It is a great honor for Brandon and the Corydon Central football program.’
