Paul E. Quick

Paul E. Quick, 83, Georgetown, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Autumn Woods Health Campus.
Born Aug. 8, 1926, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late John H. and Myrtle Quick.
He was a Navy veteran during World War II, a machine operator for General Electric, a lifetime member of Local 761, a 52-year member of the New Albany Masonic Lodge 39 F&AM and a member of the 18th Street Mission.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Bailey, and a brother, Cecil Quick.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Wright; two sons, Eddie L. Quick of New Albany and Terry L. Quick of Corydon; a daughter, Paula J. Quick of Georgetown; a brother, Harold Quick of New Albany; two sisters, Mary Crumps of Indianapolis and Violet Ashabranner of Corydon; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 1, from noon to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the 18th Street Mission.
