James L. Donahue

James Lynne Donahue, 74, Corydon, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born July 9, 1935, in New Albany, he was the son of the late James and Cleon Miller Donahue.
He was an Army veteran who served in Germany, owned Donahue’s Caf’ for more than 40 years until selling the business in 2000, and was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church, Corydon Moose Lodge, Corydon Sportsmans Club, the American Legion and the Harrison County Democrat Women and Mens Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Everbach.
Survivors include his wife, the former Brenda Crosier; a son, Shawn James Donahue of Corydon; and a sister, Vincent De Carli of Wilmington, Del.
Visitation: Friday, Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 14, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
