Charles F. Kramer
Charles F. (Chuck) Kramer, 81, Salem, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at 7:09 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born May 27, 1928, in Tell City, he was the son of the late Forrest and Pirlie Thompson Kramer.
He was a retired music teacher, music store owner and professional musician, a former band director in Freelandville, Covington, Salem and North Knox, attended Christian Heritage Chapel Church, a member of Indiana State Music Association and past president of Salem Merchant’s Association.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, the former Opal M. Potts; four sons, Bradley Kramer of New Salisbury, Mark Kramer of Raleigh, N.C., Johnny Hubbard of Louisville and Troy Hubbard of Salem; two daughters, Charlene Easton of Campbellsburg and Debra Kramer of Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Weathers Funeral Home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, both in Salem.
