Edith M. Duley

Edith Mae Duley, 93, Corydon, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
She was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Harrison County, the daughter of the late Lafe and Melinda A. Poe Lynch.
She was formerly the owner and operator of the White Hat Restaurant in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gilbert Duley, and a son, Larry Duley.
Survivors include three sons, Carl E. and Gilbert E. Duley, both of Corydon, and Robert A. Duley of Santa Claus; a daughter, Mary Catherine Black of New Salisbury; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 24, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Otterbein Cemetery in Laconia.
Pallbearers: Steve Duley, Bob Duley Jr., Tommy Duley, Bill Coleman, Jeremy Willis and Andy Pavey.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Mount Zion Community Church.
