Lucille Caudill, 83, Corydon, formerly of New Albany and Floyds Knobs, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at 12:50 a.m. at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Sept. 1, 1926, in Haywood, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Delmar L. and Mary Lily Bridges Kinslow.
She was a homemaker and a member of State Street Baptist Church in New Albany and Alton American Legion Post 133 Ladies Auxiliary.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Caudill, in 1988.
Survivors include three sons, Willie Ferguson of Jeffersonville, Doug Ferguson of Floyds Knobs and Shane Caudill of Leavenworth; a daughter, Carla Robinson of English; three sisters, Mary Ferguson of Floyds Knobs and Laverne Tyree and Jean Hoffa, both of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Pyke-Calloway Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
