Max W. Timberlake
Max William (Billy) Timberlake, 81, New Albany, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at his home.
Born Sept. 22, 1928, in Mauckport, he was the son of the late John W. and Myrtle Kate Faith Timberlake.
He was an Army veteran during the Korean War and a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Max William Timberlake of Louisville; four grandchildren; and his companion, Marilyn and her daughter, Darlene, who cared for him, both of New Albany.
Visitation: Saturday, Oct. 3, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery near Mauckport.
Pallbearers: Phil Byrum, Mark Farris, Jim Beanblossom, Vaughn and Ralph Timberlake and Robert Kuhler Jr.
