George D. Fink

George David Fink, 72, Corydon, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Sept. 6, 1936, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Remmie and Anna Florence Fink.
He was a retired Harrison County Weights and Measures inspector, the former president of the Community Projects for Students and the former owner and barber at George’s Barber Shop in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Remmie Fink, and a granddaughter, Rachel Leah Fink.
Survivors include his wife, the former June Eckart; four daughters, Leslie Robertson of Depauw, Leah Fink of Corydon and Lee King and Lyn Hayse, both of New Albany; two sisters, Patricia Knear of Corydon and Barbara Myers of Greenfield; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Harrison County Animal Control Facility.
