John F. Pittman Sr.
John Franklin Pittman Sr., 64, Huntingburg, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
Born Sept. 13, 1944, in Marengo, he was the son of the late Charles E. Pittman Sr. and Thelma Mae Bullington.
He was a retired factory finish foreman for DMI, a member of the Order of Eagles and VFW Men’s Auxiliary and was of the Christian faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Pittman, and a sister, Lela Mae Wiseman.
Survivors include two children, Pamela Pittman of West Fork and John F. Pittman Jr. of Tell City; a brother, Charles (Chuck) E. Pittman Jr. of Florida; two sisters, Mary Margaret Morgan of Curby and Betty Maxine Engleman of Elizabeth; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, June 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, June 29, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Monday, June 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Riddle Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Dr. Elmer Shelby.
